Hot Toddies are a traditional mixed cocktail that typically include whiskey, rum or brandy, herbs and holiday spices. This version is lighter in taste and in calories as it does not include any alcohol.
- 375 mL (1.5 cups) water
- 1 ginger tea bag
- Lemon wedge (1/4 of a lemon)
- Cinnamon stick or 5 mL (1 tsp.) ground cinnamon
- Boil water.
- Place boiling water in a mug with tea bag and cinnamon. Cover the mug and let the tea steep for about 10 minutes.
- Remove tea bag. Squeeze lemon wedge into mug. Add honey and stir.
